Building a green economy through clean energy
This fall, Environment Florida helped to pass critical clean energy tax incentives through Congress. Our campaign, Clean Energy, Green Economy, helped to build momentum for addressing our country’s economic woes through smart investments in up-and-coming clean energy projects.

Combating drilling, overfishing to save Florida’s shores
In 2008, Environment Florida backed proposals to protect our ocean, including a moratorium on new offshore drilling for oil and gas and the establishment of marine protected areas where overfishing would be restricted.
