Adam Rivera is an Environment Florida advocate and works on state-level issues that impact Florida's natural environment. Adam has organized campaigns to protect Florida's coast from offshore drilling, improve automobile fuel economy standards and stop sprawling development into the Everglades.
A native Floridian, Adam grew up in Ft. Lauderdale and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. He joined Environment Florida's staff in 2005.
