In 2006, Environment Florida Research & Policy Center became the new home of Florida Public Interest Research Group (Florida PIRG) Education Fund's environmental work, focusing exclusively on protecting Florida's air, water and open spaces.

Drawing on more than 30 years of experience, our professional staff combines independent research, practical ideas and effective educational campaigns to overcome the opposition of special interests and win real results for Florida's environment.

Environment Florida Research & Policy Center has been a leader on key environmental issues in Florida, including saving our shores from offshore drilling, global warming, and protecting our state's treasured waterways.
