At The Capital

Environment Florida is a nonpartisan organization that combines independent research with tough-minded advocacy to overcome the opposition of powerful special interests and win real results for Florida's environment.

Environment Florida advocates in the state legislature and in Congress on behalf of Florida’s air, water, and open spaces.  Our staff works closely with key leaders of both the state House and Senate, and in Congress, on a number of issues including offshore drilling, energy efficiency standards, global warming, habitat protection and clean water.
