As the Senate prepares to vote on whether to overturn an EPA rule on power plant mercury emissions, a new report released by the Florida Public Interest Research Group (Florida PIRG), shows that the St. Johns River Power Park and Northside Generating Station, owned by JEA, was the largest power plant mercury polluter in Florida, and Duval County topped the list of Florida counties with the highest level of power plant mercury emissions.
